She loved station wagons. We would load as many people in it and head to the movies. We would have blankets and kids would be under them . We could get in the drive in movie cheap because they did head counts. We also would go crabing, and to the beach. That station wagon took us many places, all on one tank of ⛽.

I would say when she became an Evangelist. She was under Pastor Brooks leadership. She was a teacher not a preacher in my opinion. She taught her sermons in the most simplest form, so that a kid could understand. When I didnt understand something I would ask her and she would say, what does the bible say about your question. She would find it, then she would say, here it is. This meant , read for yourself and most of the time I did.

I know where mother is and I know she's ok but I ask God to allow her to come and visit sometimes. When I'm in my feelings, I really need her to comfort me as always. God allowed us to love her for many years, and this is what I knew I could get from her, a warm hug. She gave love unconditionally, and thats why she was a sweetheart.

For my birthday I was sitting at my table doing a project.I felt a little wind and I turned, but no one was there. I said, ok, and then continued working. Well, it happened two more times, I finally said mother, I know its you coming to sing your happy birthday song. She loved singing happy birthday to us and we just lit up.... I miss that, but she reminded me that she's still with me...
